Wander over to Ford's display in Javits Center at the 2010 New York Auto Show and you'll find this 2011 Ford Mustang GT and its 5.0-liter V-8 tipped on its side. It's not the result of some auto show mishap. Ford displayed the Mustang GT that way with small signs all over it pointing out key engineering details to anyone who cares to read them.
Right next to the Mustang is a cutaway engine and transmission display, exposing the gory innards of Ford's new 3.7-liter V-6, 5.0-liter V-8, and supercharged 5.4-liter V-8 engines as well as its six-speed automatic and manual gearboxes.
Visiting the New York show and want to learn more about the 2011 Mustang? This is the place to start. Of course, before that you'll want to head over to our First Drive articles on the new 2011 Ford Mustang V-6 and GT and find out how they fared in our road testers' hands.
